Yatsuki Seimiya, a young herbalist fresh out of school, is set to marry wealthy hotel tycoon Hajime Keibi due to family arrangements. Her world collapses when her parents perish in a mysterious car explosion, shortly after she discovers a photo of Keibi with another woman. While going through their belongings, she stumbles upon her parents’ research notebook—only to find crucial pages missing, now held by Keibi. Convinced he’s involved, she accepts a position as a school doctor in a distant village but keeps the engagement to stay near him. Quietly, she swears revenge if he’s responsible for their deaths.
